The Inside Makes The Outside Happen

May 13, 2008

In 1982, I started a book called The inside Makes the outside Happen.

Now; we are in 2008, and the title still seems appealing, and more people are sensing the idea of their inner world and outer world somehow being connected.

I do this in my skating which is why I originally started the book; the inside makes the outside Happen. Now; this idea has become a way of life.

I also can relate Braille Blade Exercises to the inside making the outside happen. The dots and spots somehow derive from something in my perception which somehow stimulates a dot or a spot to be sensed. Now; the dots and spots actually are starting to draw, shape, and form shapes that I can somehow feel through energy shapes or vibration awareness of shapes so subtle but yet I can sense them.

This leads me back to the idea of inside making outside, and how I feel my work and life are somehow balanced because of this idea. I’m sure there is plenty of research on this topic. I thought it interesting enough to post about it as it is very appealing to me.

I also heard a story on the nightly news tonight about doing cross word puzzles for fifteen minutes can stimulate the brain and actually assist in the brain regenerating itself and folks can live longer, fuller and productive lives.

I’ve always been attracted to the idea; we are more than we think we are, and now; I’m a believer! I’m not just a believer, but a feeler! I’m truly amazed as the inside does for me; make the outside happen. The balance between the inside and outside seems challenging at first, but; once you get the hang of it; life will never be the same. Life can be easier, richer, happier, and healthier.

It is as if the inside and outside blend and balance together to form something else. I think Einstein once stated The Sum of the parts is greater than the whole. If this be the case; then we’re on the right track.

Work, life, and balance when connected can create harmony everywhere in your life.

Fridays Thoughts

May 11, 2008

Our session is from ten to twelve in the morning. I already mentioned in another post Hank is 88 years young.

Yesterday we discussed the dots and spots, and he was determined to try cross over skating. He did great edges, people commented on his fluidity, solid as a rock was another comment, and his confidence soared.

Hank always treats me to lunch after our skating adventure which I don’t mind; since food and I get along famously.

I usually give him a sensitive energy session when he brings me home which he says helps his inner ear balance; even though I always work on his feet.

I feel the nerve endings are in my hands and in my feet. So; I always work with his feet and he says he senses the dots and spots in the feet.

Hank also surprised me yesterday as he was leaving to go home, he gave me a piece of wood. It was in the shape of a rocker. How cool is this!

Gentleness Goes A Long Way

May 11, 2008

It is interesting how the word gentle can be presented.

This week was interesting as I only skated once. I usually skate four to five days at least two hours a day. Sometimes I help other skaters so my practice time is cut which is ok.

I was doing plenty of off ice playing around with sensing the dots and spots on my feet and hands.

I got on the ice this past Thursday and felt as if I never left the ice. Hank noticed, and his skating was different as well. I always suggest that he does the Braille Blade exercises before he gets on the ice as a warm up. Usually he cooperates and things go well. He absolutely did it and he said he received three comments on his forward cross over and other maneuvors he was doing on Thursday.

Very interesting how the gentleness of the Braille Blade exercises can apply to only skating once a week and somehow my skating was stronger, plus; Hank improved, and Hank is 88 years young, and is in much better shape than me. I adNmire him so much, and respect him for having courage to try new things.
